Brief
Data Visualization Maker is an internal data visualization tool project for Datastory organization. The startup company would like to offer the world a civic education through data storytelling with beautiful informative infographic design. The Maker tool is an important piece for accelerating open data visualization.
I conducted the content and competitors research to gain a better understanding of data visualization process and the competitors' tools.
The UX needs workshops which I facilitated, helped the Datastory team converge their understanding of the current data visualization process (user behaviour) to draft the Maker's User flow and UI design in realistic user scenarios.
